ZOO VET VISIT

The Alaska Zoo vet was out today to trim the hooves of Maxine the musk ox and to assist in the moving of some deer between different pens. It was necessary to tranq both the deer and the Maxine.

SNOWY DAY at the ZOO

Today was our first official snowfall of winter and I spent some time at the zoo checking out what the animals were doing!
